Groundwork Drilling Inc. (GWD) a Canadian company with over 27 years of experience and continues to steadily grow to meet the needs of our clients. Our journey started in 1996 providing Geotechnical and Environmental drilling services.  However, our family heritage extends back to 1956 when the company was originally known as Dominion Soil Investigation.

Over the years, GWD has functioned exclusively as a contractor to developers, municipalities, construction and engineering firms. In doing so, we have established solid relationships with industry leaders in both the public and private sector.

Throughout Southern Ontario, we can point with pride to many significant buildings and infrastructure builds where our services were used.
